The One I Love? Or the One Who Loves Me?
Life is a very, very interesting game. We will always encounter choices, and most choices are one-time choices that cannot be taken back.
This article was extracted from my early NetEase blog. NetEase Blog is no longer operating, but looking back, these words are still quite interesting, so I decided to move them over as intact as possible. This is mainly kept as a record; after all these years, the quality of the text, images, and links may all have been affected.
This article was originally published on April 14, 2009. I was about 20 years old at the time and was in college.

The choice of love seems to be one of the most interesting parts of this game, because love supports our whole life. Your life can be without many things, but it will never be without love!
At a crossroads, we have to think about many, many things. That is always better than hurriedly deciding one of the limited number of choices in our lives. Choosing the one who loves me, or the one I love, may be a very difficult question to answer. Of course, there are some people who may think there is not much difference between these choices. Maybe God arranged for them to understand these things only in the days ahead! (At least I was once one of those people.)
The person who loves you may be someone you do not love, and the person you love may be someone you should not love. Choices like this always make us easily fall into an awkward situation, even into an "abyss." When you carefully think back on these things, piles and piles of things often appear in your mind, very messy, very messy!
In those once-ignorant days, someone asked me, and I answered with "the one I love." Now I would answer with "the one I love and who loves me." After all, love is a matter between two people. At the crossroads, I will keep walking along the road I choose. Perhaps there will be more beautiful scenery ahead, or perhaps not far ahead, the paths will intersect again. Who can see the future very, very clearly?!
