Film Roll Archive Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Film Roll Archive is an iOS app for organizing scanned film rolls from Apple Photos. This policy explains how the app handles photos, metadata, purchases, and support information.

2. Data the App Collects

Film Roll Archive does not create user accounts, does not run advertising, does not track users across apps or websites, and does not sell personal data.

• The app stores your roll archive data locally on your device using Apple platform storage.
• Roll titles, film stock, camera, lens, notes, dates, locations, and selected photo identifiers are saved locally so the app can show your archive.
• The app does not upload your original photos or archive database to Mofei servers.

3. Photos Access

The app asks for Apple Photos access so it can inspect image metadata and thumbnails, detect likely scanned film rolls, and attach selected images to roll archives.

• Photos are read through Apple PhotoKit APIs after you grant permission.
• When you choose to sync metadata, the app can update the shooting date and location metadata on selected Photos assets.
• When you choose to export or save a contact sheet, the app can create generated contact sheet images and save them to Photos.
• The app does not move or delete your original photos.

4. Sharing and Exports

When you choose to share photos or exported contact sheets, iOS may pass the selected files to the destination you choose in the system share sheet. Film Roll Archive does not send those files to Mofei servers.

5. Purchases

Film Roll Archive may offer a one-time lifetime unlock through Apple in-app purchase. Purchases, payment details, refunds, and receipts are handled by Apple. The app only checks Apple StoreKit entitlement status to unlock paid capacity.

6. Third-Party Services

The app does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs. Apple services such as Photos and StoreKit may process information according to Apple policies and your device settings.

7. Retention and Deletion

Archive data remains on your device until you delete rolls in the app or remove the app from your device. Because the app does not maintain a Mofei account or server-side photo archive, there is no remote account database to delete.

8. Your Choices

You can manage or revoke Photos permission in iOS Settings. You can delete archive rolls inside the app, delete the app to remove local app data, and manage purchases through your Apple ID.

9. Children

Film Roll Archive is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
