So Helpless
I just tested the latest website I made, and it turns out IE6 is actually incompatible. Heaven!
This article was extracted from my early NetEase blog. NetEase Blog is no longer operating, but looking back, these words are still quite interesting, so I decided to move them over as intact as possible. This is mainly kept as a record; after all these years, the quality of the text, images, and links may all have been affected.
This article was originally published on May 16, 2009. I was about 20 years old at the time and was in college.
I just tested the latest website I made, and it turns out IE6 is actually incompatible. Heaven! How does that make any sense? Looks like tomorrow I will have to spend another stretch of time modifying it.
Several friends often say things like making a website is super easy. But really? It is hard! The bitterness here, the tiredness here, only people who have truly made websites know it~~~ (writing a blog or something does not count! It only counts if you type out line after line of code yourself!). The code alone is several thousand lines, and you still have to consider whether this browser or that browser is compatible… And different browsers still understand code differently… Heaven, why don't browser makers all use one unified standard!!!!!
… Fine… I am going to modify the webpage…
